The information contained in this Shipping and Returns Policy is subject to our Online Shop Terms and should be read in conjunction with them.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Depending on your location, items that you order may be shipped from the UK, elsewhere in the EU, or the US. We aim to deliver all orders promptly.

RETURN POLICY

OVERVIEW
If there’s a problem with your item (if we’ve made a mistake or if your order arrives damaged), please try to let us know immediately by emailing godfrey@greatjoystudio.co.za, and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund for you as soon as possible.
Once your item has been delivered to you, you will have 48 hours to inspect your item for any damage or imperfections and notify us at godfrey@greatjoystudio.co.za; please make sure your order number is on this.
From that date, our returns policy activates and lasts for 7 days. You will have 7 days to courier the item back to EXACTLY the address we'll give to you via email.

NB. FOR ALL RETURNS, CONTACT US BEFORE RETURNING ANY PRODUCT (email us at godfrey@greatjoystudio.co.za ) & DO NOT ADDRESS RETURNS TO GREATJOY STUDIO, OR ELSE YOU'LL INCUR RE-SHIPMENT COSTS. DO NOT SEND RETURNS WITHOUT FIRST RECEIVING OUR APPROVAL.

NB. PRINT EDITIONS CANT AND PUBLICATIONS CAN’T BE RETURNED FOR CASH BUT CAN BE REPLACED UPON PROOF OF DAMAGE WITHIN 3 DAYS OF DELIVERY.

If we assign you a return address and you use the wrong one, we won't be liable for any loss or reshipment costs you incur. If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You, the customer, will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable)

REFUNDS WILL ONLY BE GIVEN FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:

  • We have sent the wrong item and are not able to exchange it for the correct item, and the customer has no desire to exchange the item for any other item on the website.

  • We are unable to fulfill your order.

  • The item has arrived damaged or broken, and we cannot replace it with a new one.

    Shipping costs will also not be refunded once your order has been processed.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at godfrey@greatjoystudio.co.za

SALE ITEMS (if applicable)

Only regular-priced items may be refunded; unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded or returned. Exchanges (if applicable)

NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If the incorrect product is delivered to you by mistake (i.e., it is not the product you purchased), please do not remove the product from its original packaging or try the product on at all. Please promptly contact Greatjoy Studio to notify Greatjoy Studio thereof, so that we can resolve the mistake by arranging to collect the product from you and deliver the correct product to you as quickly as possible. Please retain the product's original packaging and do not use it.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

General Warranty: If, within a month after delivery of a product to you:

If you find that the product(s) are defective and you arrange for their return to Greatjoy Studio for inspection, first email us at godfrey@greatjoystudio.co.za following the returns procedure below. If the product is subsequently found to indeed be defective, you are entitled to either:

(a) be fully refunded, or
(b) have the product repaired or replaced at Greatjoy Studio's expense.

If the product is found NOT to be defective, you will NOT be entitled to any repair, replacement, or refund but will instead be liable for the costs incurred in having the product returned to Greatjoy Studio and then redelivered to you.

WHEN IS THE PRODUCT DEFECTIVE?

Please note: the following are examples of things that will NOT be regarded as defects and will NOT entitle you to any repair, replacement, or refund under the general warranty above: faults resulting from normal wear and tear; damage arising from incorrect usage of the product; misuse and abuse; and not following the instructions of the product.

EXCLUSIONS

All withdrawal requests will undergo an evaluation to verify whether the product was used or destroyed, even if it is partial. In these cases, a refund will not be possible.
The right of withdrawal may not be provided for:

  1. the supply of goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalized;

  2. Products that you or any other person has altered, repaired, incorporated, or added to where such alteration, repair, or addition has not been authorized by Greatjoy Studio.

  3. sealed goods that were unsealed after delivery and thus aren't suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons,

Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse returns at our sole discretion.

HOW TO RETURN SHOP PRODUCTS

If you’d like to return all or part of your order, please contact Greatjoy Studio by e-mail at godfrey@greatjoystudio.co.za and specify the following:

  • The reason for the return;

  • the date the product(s) was bought and the date the product(s) was delivered, including a reference number or proof of purchase;

  • the banking details for the refund (if applicable)

Do not return the product without the written approval of Greatjoy Studio. You have to receive instructions as to how to ship back your product.

Once we’ve received the item, we’ll process your refund, replacement, or exchange as quickly as possible. Please make sure you return the item in pristine condition, in its original packaging.

If Greatjoy Studio accepts the return as a valid return and you’re owed a refund, we’ll issue this using the same payment details that were used to purchase the items. We aim to process all returns within 1-2 weeks, but the refund could take up to an additional 10 working days to show up in your account, so please bear with us.


This policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the English language, regardless of any translations made for any purpose whatsoever.
